Hi list. My name is Theresa Crandell. I'm new to geneology, and would like to just put down some of my family names in the hope that anyone can help me with dates and places of birth, death, marriage, etc. My paternal grandmother's name was Marilyn (Rose) Crandell. She married Richard Crandell and they had 8 children (Robert, Randy, Richard, Edward, Nancy, Rosemary, Sharon & Darlene). Sadly, she died in 1990. Her parents were Rosalie (Nickell or Nichols) Rose and Willy(William?) Rose. My grandmother was born and raised in Citra Indian Territory, Ada, Oklahoma. I only know that she was Cherokee and Irish, but the family passed themselves off as white. No one seems to know where Grandpa Willy came from, or when. I have so far been unable to find any of thes names in any of the 5 Civilized Tribe rolls, nor can I find birth, death, or marriage dates. Beyond Ada, OK, Marilyn and Richard lived in Wisconsin, where she died. If any of this is familiar to anyone, please contact me. I would love to hear from as many of you as possible. Thanks!
