Hi all, I have put up the following new pages and a new search engine, at the ROSE site thanks girls. NATHANIEL ROSE - Sandra Rose. Born ante 1775, USA died between 1827 and 1830, death and burial location unknown. Married Esther Dorton/Dalton, time and place unknown. Esther was age 81 in 1860 census both Nathaniel and Esther are said to have been born in NC or VA Information supplied by Sandra Rose. ZACHARIAH ROSE - Judy Vincent-Barnes ZACHARIAH was born Abt. 1824 in Kentucky. He married NANCY HARDIN July 20, 1849 in Henry,Kentucky. She was born Abt. 1828 in Kentucky. One source says Susannah North, a French lady). William d. 23 Jan 1844/49? Nimmonsburg, Broome Co., NY and was buried in Nimmons Cem. Amer Rev War svc file #S-11324 [CR #S 111324]William entered service as a musician as a substitute for Azias Boardman of Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT William-in Capt Monson's Co, 8th CT Regt Svc from 7 Jul 1778 to 9 Dec 1780 Later used title: "Colonel". as he was appt Lt. Col of militia Regiment in later years, also a physician/doctor Could have known Timothy ( 8th Regt) or Jabez PERCIVAL during Rev War svc. and their families. Could be that Elvira, Jabez's daughter, was known to the Roses in CT, lived in Litchield until 1785 when he move to Chenango River, NY Was an early pioneer of the area., d. at Nimmonsburg which is near Binghampton, Broome Co., NY Need some claification on William ROSE's wife, Suzan. Hi list. My name is Theresa Crandell. I'm new to geneology, and would like to just put down some of my family names in the hope that anyone can help me with dates and places of birth, death, marriage, etc. My paternal grandmother's name was Marilyn (Rose) Crandell. She married Richard Crandell and they had 8 children (Robert, Randy, Richard, Edward, Nancy, Rosemary, Sharon & Darlene). Sadly, she died in 1990. Her parents were Rosalie (Nickell or Nichols) Rose and Willy(William?) Rose. My grandmother was born and raised in Citra Indian Territory, Ada, Oklahoma. I only know that she was Cherokee and Irish, but the family passed themselves off as white. No one seems to know where Grandpa Willy came from, or when. I have so far been unable to find any of thes names in any of the 5 Civilized Tribe rolls, nor can I find birth, death, or marriage dates. Beyond Ada, OK, Marilyn and Richard lived in Wisconsin, where she died. If any of this is familiar to anyone, please contact me. I would love to hear from as many of you as possible. Thanks!
