Could someone do a lookup for Philip Rose in Pleasant Grove Township, Marion Co. IA? I located his barely legible name (and his family) in the 1860 IA census. He was born in Ohio. His daughter, Alta A. Rose was my great great grandmother. Apparently this family moved from Montgomery County, IN to Iowa between 1850 and 1860. Alta was born ca. 1851 in Montgomery Co.
