Hello lister's this is my first posting on this list. Anybody out there searching A Rose family from EBBW VALE Gwent South Wales? My interests are John Rose b 1828 in Somerset a coalminer, his wife Matilda b 1838 in Somerset, son John b 1856 in Bedwellty, coalminer, son Jacob b 1863 in Bedwellty, coalminer, son Oliver b 1868 in Bedwellty, engine driver, son Tom b 1870 in Bedwellty, daughter Sarah Ann b 1878 in Bedwellty. Looking for ancestors and descendants of John W. ROSE and Abbie A. STREETER. John W. ROSE was born 4 November 1851, Erie, Pa., died 25 April 1937, Town of Fleming (Auburn), Cayuga County, N.Y. Buried in Sand Beach Cemetery, Town of Fleming, Cayuga Co., N.Y. He married Abbie A. STREETER. She was born about 1846, Cayuga Co., N.Y., died 1917. Buried in Sand Beach Cemetery, Town of Fleming, Cayuga Co., N.Y. They had at least two children: Clinton F. ROSE Dewitt J. ROSE (1885-1914) Any help would be greatly appreciated. John Bogdal
