Hi and good evening. I went to the site and had to spend 20 euros for information that was not applicable. It would help greatly if more than a name appeared. There is no way to assess the quality or appropriateness of an entry. It is very expensive if you find more not applicables than applicalbes. I can't afford to fish in a pond that reveals so little. Though I would be happy to buy good information. I just need more information to evaluate that it is in my family's interest. Have to say that I agree. I went to the site, did the search, then said " Don't think so" due to the high cost. Perhaps the problem is that when we see somethng that looks likely, we think it is probable. I just didn't see anything that seemed likely enough. On the other hand, all of us could spend thousands of dollars (or whatever) to travel to Ireland and look at the records for ourselves. I feel very conflicted about this. If I knew that these were the only records available for my name, and I could spend $30 to know thjat the record wasdnot of my ancestor, I could save the thousand or so that it would cost me to go and research for myself Perhaps we are too greedy--am including myself Kathleen Elizabeth Tordella <ewtordella@gmail.com> wrote: Hi and good evening.
