You don't have to spend "thousands of dollars" to go to Ireland and see for youself. The Troy Irish Genealogy Society is going as a group 4/17/08 for $1650 a person; 8 days, 6 nights, 5 dinners, all breakfasts and touring with admission to many sites, catamaran cruise, ferry across the Shannon, too much to list. We will NOT be researching BUT you could go spend less on touring and do your research. We will be enjoying the country....
