Not sure, all my Cox family arrived before 1700, I would think that all the Cox's in Roscommon would somehow be related. My maternal grandmother was Catherine Cox (1870-1944) Cloonmore, Parish of Termonbarry, County Roscommon. She had two sisters, Mary Ann (b. 1866) and Bridget; a brother, Patrick, born around the same time. Their parents were James Cox ("of Old Road") and Julia Gavigan. Mary Ann married John Kelly; Bridget married Luke Flynn. Patrick also married and has Cox descendants but I can't put my hands on the details! Catherine married Thomas McGuinness (1860-1913) my grandfather. Richard Callanan, London, England. -----Original Message----- From: Ginny Stewart [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 07 May 2003 23:30 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ROSCOMMON] Re:COX:Roscommon Not sure, all my Cox family arrived before 1700, I would think that all the Cox's in Roscommon would somehow be related.
