According to bible records, Michael Grant was a native of the Parish of Elphin in County Roscommon. He was born approximately in 1817 but there is some differences between dates on death cert, tombstone, etc. He married Ellen Haney of Fermagh, County Leitrim on November 21, 1852 probably in Ireland and perhaps in Ellen's parish. Is anyone researching any Grant family in the Elphin area of Roscommon or perhaps even in the surrounding areas into Leitrim? Thanks so much for any assistance.
