Dear Terese: I am researching in the same area and was able to get microfilm from the LDS: Parish Church of Lisacull and Loughglynn, Parochial registers, 1817-1900, British Film # 0989753.(Found Under Tibohine Church Records) It was not so good a copy..but I did manage to find my ancestors in it..tho it includes only these years: Baptisms - 1817-1826/1829-1835/1835-1840/1849-1863 Marriages - 1817-1827/1836-1838/1849-1858 Deaths - 1849-1854/1868-1900 I then sent to the Roscommon Genealogical Research Center and for $45.00 they sent me exactly what I had previously found in this film that I rented for $3.50 from the LDS....so the film is a bargain. The names I am reseaching: Peter Costello (Abt.1790-?)married Catherine Gorman (?-?) they had the following children baptised in this parish: Michael Costello born 1818 married (abt. 1845 no record) Mary Nolan...my line Patrick Costello born 1820 John Costello born 1821 Catherine Costello born 1824 and possibly Augustine Costello...no birth record. Unfortunately Irish records leave a lot to be desired...and I am learning to be happy with the tidbits available. I think the above records are available on a CD...I met a woman from Australia online who had it, but I don't know where you can buy it.If we have a connection please reply. denise in US _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8. Dear Denise, Thank you for your email. The family I am researching in that area is called ELWOOD, which is on my husband's tree. I do have a Mary Ann COSTELLO, born about 1838 on my tree, but I do not know where in Ireland. She married ? BURKE about 1858/60 and they had one son Edward. Mary Ann's husband died and she then married my gr.grandfather Daniel Hughes from Armagh. I wish I could be more help to you and hope you make progress with your research. Regards, Therese
