I know very little about my Costello connection. All I have is the fact that my gr.grandmother was Mary Anne Costello, born about 1838 in Ireland. I think it was in Armagh, but have no proof in Church records, just that it was recorded in the 1881 Census. Mary Anne married a man called ? Burke and had a son Edward who was born about 1862. Her second marriage was to my gr.grandfather, Daniel Hughes. Their first child was Catherine who was born in Liverpool, England in 1877.
