Can anyone tell me how to go about locating the Tithe Book for the Boyle area of County Roscommon? Like most of you, I am on an ancestor hunt and have been advised that to move past my brick wall(s), I should look at the tithe book that dates back to the 1820s. That would be an enormous help, but how to do it is the question. Is is possible that it is on line, and if so - how do I get to it? If not, then what? Many thanks. Fran Weeks
Fran, do you mean Boyle Town? If you give me more information maybe I can help you. I need the parish. Have you used the Griffith's Valuation Index?
