She went to school during the stirring times of the wars of Napoleon, when all Europe was agitated with the conquests of the "Little Corporal." Reared amid the scenery of the Emerald Isle, and near the lovely Lough Ree, she acquired that robust health and strong constitution which has enabled her to almost reach the gates of the 20th century..Surviving the famine years of Ireland, she and her husband emigrated to New York City Or if any one else can be of help also.....Maybe I need to be looking in another town or etc for her early years.................Thanks Kay
