Thank you Janet for reviving interest in this list. I have some information from the Parish register of Taughmaconnell, 1842-1880 but will check to see if I could purchase the CD. I have not been able to find the ship these Foleys sailed on - family information says they emigrated in 1835 but seems impossible that they all came together. We went to Ireland a couple of years ago, met cousins but I had more information on the ancestors than they did and the records did not go back into the early 1800's. 5 sons of Martin Foley and Mary Grehan emigrated to the United States (Boston) from Taughmaconnell, County Roscommon between 1835 and 1850. Patrick (1815-1890) (Ontario, Canada) Thomas (1818-1882) (Ontario, Canada) William (1820-1888) (Ontario and Minnesota) John (Westerly, R.I.) Martin (Brooklyn) I have some information on William's family most of whom live in the western United States. One son (James) remained in Ireland and three of his children emigrated to the United States. They all lived in the New York City area. Mary (m. F. Coote) William Martin In the Grehan line - Mary's brother Malachy married Bridget MULVEE (Mulvey?) so that is another name.
