Hi Pete- This is what I found-- These all have the same parents--(Bridget,James,John(exact match year),Thomas). I have not seen any of these records recorded in Oran or Kilbegnet(where Donamon is). Although Dysart is south of your area, seems many in this area were registered, or baptised here). There are other Johns, but born in the 1870's. Nothing for a Michael or James in the 1820's. The earliest is a Michael in 1839, from Kilteevan. Hope these are of some help! Janet The D'Arcy spelling doesn't show any of your names. >From: "Dorsey, Peter A." <[email protected]> >To: <[email protected]> >Subject: Darcys in Donomon or Oran >Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 09:20:53 -0400 > >Dear Janet: > > > > Thanks for all the great work you are doing for many people on >the Roscommon list! I am trying to locate the parents of John D'Arcy or >Darcy, born around 1857. His siblings' names were James and Thomas.
