My Great Grandfather Richard Dignan can to the US (Brooklyn NY) in the 1860's Richard, a cousin(? relationship) John, and Richard's grandmother Bridget came to the US 1864 Richard's father Mathew was already here (1863). His other brother and sisters I have found and now are figuring out their part of the tree. Elizabeth Holmes was alive after 1906, Ann alive after 1906, Matthew, Susan Galke alive after 1920, Mary Jane Dorsey, Ida Bartley alive after 1930. Using the LDS Cd's (British Isles Vol 2) and FamilySearch.org I have found Richard's father, Mathew marriage to Susan Sadler (Sadleir) on Jan 19, 1860 in Killukin, Roscommon. This data matches census and death records I also have found listed for the Parish of Boyle a Mathew baptized in 1838 with the parents of Mathew and Bridget (nee Kenedy) Dignan. This information matches death certificate. There is another Mathew Dignan married to Eveline (Eleanora) Murray with only 2 children Winifred, DOB 1794, and Maria, christened 1796) per the CD's/ There is no child with the name Mathew, so I am not sure if my Mathew's parents or not.
