First , Thank you to Richard Callanan for your note about the 'Latin' names. I have a list somewhere, but of course I cannot find it!! Your information is most useful! I am sorry that there are a couple of listers not happy with my lookups, one referred them to 'spam' and the other not interested in the posting of the info to the list. I am more than happy to do these lookups, and my feeling is that by posting them to the list, others may benefit from seeing all of the names associated with a particular surname, therefore possibly finding a clue as to their own ancestors. That is exactly how I found a couple of my elusive relatives, and have been lucky enough to correspond with relatives still in Ireland, as well as meeting them. I am sorry if a couple are annoyed, but you can always hit 'delete', and not be bothered. So simple. So, I will continue to post them, unless the list administrator tells me otherwise, and then, to all interested, I am more than happy to look for your requests privately!! Janet Thank you for creating the interest in the Roscommon list,I've never seen it so active..Would you possibly have a marriage record for a Patritii McDermot and a Siciliae Brodrick about 1833,Roman Catholic in Loughglinn,Ireland. The nonlatin names should be Patrick andCelia,I think..Thanks Pat [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "janet sandberg" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2003 7:26 PM Subject: [ROSCOMMON] Lookups and Thanks! > First , Thank you to Richard Callanan for your note about the 'Latin' > names.
