Bad news Andrew! The earliest surviving RC records for Kilglass parish date from 1865. The records are on microfilm at the National Library in Dublin and at the County Roscommon Heritage and Genealogy Centre - see: http://www.irishroots.net/Roscmmn.htm Another lister might know if the film is also available from the LDS. I am trying to trace the origins of three brothers, who came to England, from Kilglass, during the period of the famine and evictions of the mid 1800s. Henry Cox, Daniel Cox (one of my maternal great great grandfathers) and Patrick Cox. They were born around,1815, 1830 and 1832, respectively. Henry Cox was also married in Kilglass, his wife's name was Ellen. Andrew Wood ==== ROSCOMMON Mailing List ==== Did your ancestors leave Liverpool by ship bound for New York?
