After such great information from Janet I thought I would post the following: I have had the good fortune to visit Boyle three times and spent some time exploring the Church of Ireland cemetery two of those times, since that is where my Armstrongs are buried. I realise many listers are researching Catholic families and this may be of no use at all, however I was also able to look through the parish registers for the Church of Ireland there, with the help of a local gentleman, Billy Reid. This gave me some great further information. Maybe this will be of use to someone sometime. I never cease to be impressed with the generosity of people involved in family research.
