Thanks once again Richard, I think I`ll take a chance and order the film when I can. Regards. That can sometimes be useful in pointing up connections between people (or the lack of them). You will usually get the mother's maiden name. A location for where the parents live is sometimes given but the practice varied very much from parish to parish. Father's occupation is rarely given at this date in my experience. It was more common earlier in the century. My question now, is if I were to view the baptism`s on film at a L.D.S. centre would I learn anymore than I already know? i.e. father`s occupation or village born maybe. Any help always appreciated. Thanks to Peter and Richard for helping me with the location of Michael's village which it seems is Clydagh 1m west of Ballinlough in Kiltullagh. Regards.
