This is my mother's family and I confess I am at present concentrating on my father's family from Tipperary. So, for the moment, I am collecting rather than analysing. Boy, I didn't think anyone else was looking for Igoe. There aren't many left in the area of Roscommon where my family lived; this from my mother's cousin who still lives in the area. He is planning to visit the family to see if we are related. Hopefully we will find a connection, and if not, I'm sure we will get some good stories.
