A cousin had in her marriage announcement in the newspaper that the best man at her wedding was Luke Padian of New York. The marriage occurred in Philadelphia in 1955. I have been trying to figure out if and exactly how he is related. The bride's maternal aunt was Bridget (nee Beirne or O'Beirne) Padian in Scramogue. Was Luke Padian the son of our Bridget Padian? A search of this list's archives indicate that this is a good possibility. Is anyone currently on the list researching this family? Michele
