    3. Good day I too searched the Irish Family History Foundation's Online Research site. I find it useful but frustrating. I was able to find records for all of my grandfather's sibs but not his, nor his brother Michael. The site is expensive for a site that provides so little prepurchase information and the download is available only if one cuts and pastes to another doc. I do post the warts I pay for hoping that someone will benefit from my wart purchase. To date, no one has indicated that I found them anything of interest. But I feel that the postings make the cost an expense I share with other researchers. I urge anyone who purchases info that is not pertinent to their search to copy and paste it and let the group know what was found and then the document can be shared off line. I admit to being spoiled by advances in computer programming but must admit that I am equally frustrated by ancestry.com. I know that it takes resources to scan, decode, recode, store, etc information but ancestry is also expensive. I often wonder why I am paying for the US Census, an item I think the US government should provide without cost since the costs incurred were paid by my precious tax dollars. So many items on this site should be available without cost but alas, not so.
