If anyone has access to The Tithe Applotments for area of Boyle (Shegorrey, Deerpark etc) I am looking for Nafin (Naphan,Naphin). Dominick (1802) married Catherine Sharkett (Y) (1817) emigrated to Canada with several brothers and mother-in-law Bridget Sharkett 1842. Brothers were Patrick, Bartley, Darby, Dennis, Martin. Hi Jan B, I am also looking for Sharkey and Sharketts. John Sharkey(t) who had Michael around 1823. All supposed to be around the Boyle area as well. I do not have Applotment info. I do know that a lady had information on Bartley as one of her connections, so I am sure she will pick this up. Our Sharkeys arrived in England and settled eventually in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Hi Janet and Margaret. I too have a SHARKETT connection with my 3x great grandmother Ann SHARKETT marrying John JOHNSON in Boyle, Rosc in 1815. This marriage was Church of Ireland and John JOHNSON was a stone mason by trade. I have not yet found her baptism although there seem to be some SHARKETT families in the area at the time.
