    3. Karen, When we were in Dublin last summer we stayed at the Arlington Hotel, about a one minute walk from O'Connell Square/Bridge. It's about a 5 star hotel and a little expensive, but we loved it and will stay there again. Every night they have live Irish music and also the food is v/good. The hotel is within walking distance from a lot of the tourist sites. The phone # 011-353-804-9100 and the Email address is [email protected] Is this your 1st trip to Ireland? If it is, let me know, using my Email address, and I will give you some good travel hints and information for visiting Ireland. Have a safe trip and enjoy it. Does anyone have a suggestion on what hotel to use while staying in Dublin. Thanks, Karen Klaene Cincinnati,OHIO

    3. Jack, I noticed your last name 'Sheerin' - did any of your ggparents have the name Ellen or similar and did any of them marry a John Sharkey. We are looking for Michael Sharkey born 1827-8 in Roscommon area (we think) and the only family that fits the description is the one where John marries an Ellen (or possibly Eleanor).
