Hi: I only know Catharine's mother as ''Bridget" born 1781 and must have come to Canada in 1842 with her daughter , no husband.(1861 census). I shall pursue another Sharkey (Sharkett), Michael, I saw in some of the records and see where he originated. I hadn't thought anything about him at the time. Never overlook anything, right?
