The above is from Clontuskert parochial records, Co. Galway. That is not far from Moore parish. Were your Martin and this Michael perhaps related? I found Michael Cravan in the townland of Corrabaun in Griffith's Valuation. I also wonder whether/how my Simon might have been related to the Cravan's, and whether he also lived in Corrabaun.
