Janet, I showed my mother what you've shared. Some of these names are getting her mind going. She seemed to think that Mary Cassidy's father's name was Phelen (Phelan) and the mother's name Ann(e) Barry. Problem is these names don't show up. I wonder if they came from a different county. I mean, they had to come from somewhere. My Padians are said to have arrived in the late 1700's (from France). Hello, I am interested in finding any birth, marriage, death records re to: Peter McCormack m. Mary Kean [Keen, Keene, Keane, Cain, etc.] in the Dysart diocese records of Roscommon. This family lived across the River Suck from Ballyforan, Roscommon. I have found one birth record from this family, a son John b. 1864. There were at least 7 children born to Peter and Mary from c1844 to 1864. John is the second son they named John. Any information re to this family to be found in the RC records would be gratefully received. I have been offline for a bit and now am up and running and find that births records are being provided for RC diocese of Dysart. I don't know WHERE Mary Keane came from.....Tisara is another location associated with some inlaws....but the baptisms I believe would all be recorded @Dysart. Thank you so much. Janet- The Bridget Igo christenings are in the right time frame so we may have a match, but regarding the births at the end; I knew my Bridget was born 1870 and had a brother Bernard, so I'd say you hit a home run. Thank you so much! I did notice that you had records dating back farther than I have been able to go. This Bridget Beirne you found for me (b: 1870) grew up and married Luke Padian. Luke's father was Thomas Padian who married Mary Cassidy. The problem is, this is as far back as I have been able to take it.
