See my previous Post “Will of Arthur ROPER, Of Westminster, Yeoman (Dated 09 Aug 1651, Proved 18 Aug 1651)” (27 Nov 2004 1:49 AM GMT) at http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=message&r=rw&p=surnames.roper&m=720 . NOTE 2: The marriage of John ROPER and Wlizabeth WEBB is given at: JOHN ROPER m ELIZABETH WEBB on 04 FEB 1646 - Saint Margaret, Westminster, London, England [IGI Batch No. M001601] NOTE 3: Birth records of the children appear to be: 1. ELIZABETH ROPER (Chr 26 DEC 1646 - St Nicholas Acons, London, London, England) 2. KATHERNE ROPER (Chr 15 AUG 1648 - St Nicholas Acons, London, London, England) 3. ELIZABETH ROPER (Chr 03 APR 1651 - St Nicholas Acons, London, London, England) [IGI Batch No. P001671] NOTE 4: Husband John ROPER has clearly DIED sometime between the writing of Arthur ROPER’s Will on 09 Aug 1651 and the writing of Elizabeth ROPER’s Will on 28 Mar 1658. Given that no further children were born into the family after 1651, it seems likely that John ROPER’s death was closer to 1651 than to 1658. NOTE 5: Sister Mary HURLE would appear to be: MARIE WEBB m GEORGE HERLE on 21 FEB 1653 - Saint Lawrence Pountney, London, London, England [IGI Batch No. M021631] * * * Copyright William Alexander Roper, Jr., 2004.
