I am trying to run down more family information on Vergie, who I believe married my mother's uncle, HERMAN EARNEST BADEN, born in South Dakota, April Fool's Day, 1884. His family moved to the Olathe, Johnson Co., Kansas (just west of Kansas City) during the 1890's, and then onto Kiowa Co., Oklahoma. Vergie and Herman married circa 1917/1918 and had at least one son, Earnest Ray Baden born January 1920. We think he married a Marie(?). However, the census data for 1930 shows that there were no children living with Vergie and Herman, then farming in the Barnitz Township in Custer County, Oklahoma. The information I found for Vergie in Ancestry.com "search" suggests to me that someone has included her in their family charts. I have extensive information on her husband's family going back to Sprengel, Germany, about 40 miles north of Hanover. My grandmother in 1970 thought that Vergie and Herman had four children: Earnest Ray, Pauline, Irene and Billy Jean. If so, my mother would very much be interested in contacting her cousins.
