I am researching the line which began with Benjamin Roper born about 1780 (location unknown), died 1831 in Pickens Co., South Carolina. He married Suzannah ? born about 1780 in Lumpkin Co., South Carolina and died 1848 (don't have location). Their son Aaron born about 1800 in S.C. and died in 1881 in Blacks, Dawson Co., Georgia. He married Sarah Ann Keith (b. 1805 Pickens Co., S.C., died about 1855 don't have location). Their son William Harvey Roper (born 1826 Lumpkin Co., Georgia, died 1892 Marble Falls, Burnet Co., Texas). He married Nancy Wallace (born 1828 Lumpkin Co., Georgia, died 1921 Marble Falls, Burnet Co., Texas). I have pictures of Nancy Wallace Roper and my grandmother as a child taken about 1906.
