Old Pendleton District in South Carolina ( Oconee or Pickens ) William Roper or Raper 1772 - 1837 married Sarah Adeline Standridge 1775 - 1837. They had about 5 daughters possibly more children. Some of their children were raised as Standridges by their uncle Isaac Standridge after William and Sarah died.
