Are the Joseph Roper of the 1880 census the same Joseph Roper of the 1900 Census, Franklin County, Montgomery, Oh? Ancestry Image 6. 1910-1930 Joseph Roper listed in the census as his wife Minnie. I believe this Joseph Roper was married prior to Minnie, as the 1900 census indicates he has a daughter Rosa who is (11) years of age, and she born in 1889 and Joseph indicates on the census that he is married (7) years to Minnie, thus making their marriage date abt 1888.
