These details can be the basis for further investigations. I understnad that the head of household who married Winnifred ROPER was Hugh CAMPBELL, but we do NOT know his age or place of birth. I understand that Winnifred ROPER married this Hugh CAMPBELL on 03 April 1858 in New Orleans. In another Post you indicated that Winifred Roper CAMPBELL died on 26 Dec 1890 in New Orleans, age 55. But I believe that at least a little basic information is now better organized above to assist us as we continue to look for the answer. I would think that the next logical place to look is the UK Census of 1851. But I am uncertain whether Ireland was included. Perhaps a genealogist better acquainted with data from Ireland can assist. Of course, it is also POSSIBLE that Winifred ROPER was already in the United States in 1850, in which case we shoul also look at the 1850 Census to look for additional candidates. And that is something that is worthy of further investigation.
