That Post amplies and CORRECTS my speculative ascription regarding the origins of Thomas ROPER appearing in my Reply "Re: Theodore W. Roper married to Rhoda Ann Kelley" [31 Dec 2005 1:31 AM GMT] above. I am systematically working through the English origins of ALL of the ROPERs who emmigrated to America during the 19th Century. Of course, my prior suggestion that Theodore W. ROPER might have emerged from the family of Thomas ROPER was and IS SPECULATIVE, but the new evidence presented suggests yet another possibility that Thomas ROPER's eldest children were actually children of William and Rhoda NUTALL. Even if that Post is NOT helpful, perhaps some of my other Posts in this series will prove to be helpful.
