I am sorry we are not researching the same Roper family. Thank you for your clues to further my search. Since i live in Virginia, I would be more than willing to look up anything you need for your research. I am close to NARA and also to the Virginia Room of the Fairfax Library which has an rather extensive genealogy collection. The next time I go home to visit Mansfield I wil visit Eliza ropers grave and get a picture of her tombstone. Again, Thanks a million and let me know if I can be of any help to you.
