L., died 1919, age 79, Bradley County, TN, No. 267. [See http://tennessee.gov/tsla/history/vital/d-bradley3.htm ] I would encourage you to obtain this death record. I cannot locate Earl ROPER in the 1920 Census and it seems most likely that he died between the 1910 and 1920 Census enumerations. And Earl ROPER is the ONLY male ROPER shown to be residing in Tennessee born between 1835 and 1845 according to the 1910 Census enumeration! If I had a primary interest in this line, I would get a look at the underlying primary record shown in this Index entry.
