I know of several of their children, Beatrice Rooper Washington, still living in Newark, NJ, Donald Rooper, deceased, Valatia Rooper Hodges, of Hurricane, WV, may still be living, Everett Rooper, deceased, who had a son Jack Rooper, living in Barboursville, WV, Hubert Rooper, deceased, of Culpeper, VA and Flora Rooper Cooper, deceased, who was my mom's mother. Flora Ellen Rooper married Alonzo Frank "Bootie" Cooper. These were my maternal grandparents. They had two children, Willard "Chuck" Cooper and Anna Louise Cooper. Uncle Chuck had no natural children, but adopted a son, Jeffrey. Anna Cooper, my mother, married Earl Talley Stinnett and had four children, myself, Vickie Stinnett Sicilia, Michael Lee Stinnett and Frank Eric Stinnett. Vickie had two daughters by her first marriage, Tanya and Leigh-Anne Vance. Mike had two sons, by two marriages, Dustin Earl Stinnett and Phillip Talley Stinnett. Eric never married and has no children. I have two daughters, by two marriages Laura Nichole Stinnett and Jordan Cooper Stinnett. Laura is now pregnant with the great-great-great-grandchild of Elmer Dewey ROOPER. If you can provide further lineage above Papa Dewey, I'd appreciate it.
