(For the following initials, see http://www.roperld.com/ropergenetics.htm .) The Y-chromosome tests now show that there are at least 6 different Roper families in Norfolk and Suffolk: EMUR (England/Majority USA Roper family) 3 members of EMUR in Suffolk/Norfolk are PJR, AGGR & APR. SRR, who lives just east of Norwich. RR, who lives in Bungay Norfolk, right on the border of Suffolk. CR2, who lives in Ickburg, Norfolk, not far from Suffolk. (The same family as for ITR and a West Virginia Roper family.) KNR, who lives in Denton, Norfolk, right on the Suffolk border. (The same family as the Rooper, WSR, family of Oregon.)
