My grand mother was Winifred Mary Meese (nee Roper) and had sisters, Jesse, Vera & Dorothy and brother Sidney. There partents were Robert Roper b.1870's and Florence Roper (nee Starbuck) they grew up around Woodhouse, Sheffield, but have family connections with Kiveton Park & Wales, Sheffield.
