ROPER, leaving parents, sister & 3 brothers", Richmond Enquirer, 20 Nov 1835, page 3. This abstract appears in "Death Notices from Richmond Virginia Newspapers, 1821-1840", Special Publication No. 9, The Virginia Genealogical Society [at Page 262]. The full death notice reads: "Died, at the residence of her father, in Chesterfield county, Va., on Sunday, the 15th instant, in the 22nd year of her age, Amanda A.
