I am uncertain where this William ROPER fits in, but wanted to call these primary records to the attention of other researchers. The file seems to contain a summons as to a suit between a Mary CRUISE and William ROPER, an agreement between the same parties and an administrator's bond. The summons is shown to have been executed at the December term 1839. The agreement seems to be dated 25 May 1838. William A. WILLIAMS seems to have been appointed administrator on the strength of the bond of William A. WILLIAMS, William A. WRIGHT and James T. MILLER, which bond is dated 10 Sep 1839.
