I am most appreciative of your insight into other avenues of investigation, because I was wondering where I would go in terms of my furthering my Ainsworth family! It will be most interesting to search more for Margaret Roper and see if we can find if she is, in fact, the same Margaret Roper living with Joshua Roper in the 1870 Census for Lincoln, TN! Also, I am not sure if you have found the 1850 Census for Joseph L. McLemore, but I believe that I might have found it. There is a J L McLimore living in District 12, Monroe County, TN. He is 35-years-old, and is enumerated with: Sarah E. McLimore, 11 Margarett McLimore, 9 Archy A. McLimore, 7 The presence of Archy A. McLimore, age 7, makes me believe this is the Joseph L.
