    1. [ROPER] Comparison of Slave Counts Between David ROPER, of Rhea, and the Four Slaves Shown within the Prenuptial Agreement in Pulaski
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: waroper Surnames: Roper Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.roper/1743.4.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Frank: What do you make of the close conformance of the slave data in David ROPER's 1830 Census record in Rhea to the four slaves identified within the 1820 prenuptial agreement between David ROPER and Sarah CLARK in Pulaski. I realize that I had also previously noted that the 1820 Census record for David ROPER (b bef 1776), of Crooked Creek, Washington County, Illinois, is consistent with that of the second David ROPER in Pulaski. Might David ROPER have first migrated to Washington County, IL, and then returned to Rhea, TN? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
