There is NO EVIDENCE that Shadrach ROPER was either born in 1719 OR that he was born in Powhatan. Powhatan County was created by an act of the Virginia General Assembly in May 1777. These are simply INVENTED facts used to create false connections for a fraudulent lineage and should be removed from any honest genealogy.. There is also NO EVIDENCE that Shadrach ROPER was married in Powhattan OR that he married in 1744. IF he was married, in 1744, which is exceptionally UNLIKELY, because this probably would have been BEFORE HE WAS BORN it wouldn't have been in Powhatan County for the aforementioned reason that Powhatan County didn't exist yet. Shadrach ROPER's youngest children are SHOWN to be MINORS at the date of his Will. I believe that it is UNLIKELY that ANY of Shadrach's children were born BEFORE Shadrach ROPER.
