Am I correct in understanding that your current view is that the David ROPER, of Rhea, TN, was the David ROPER married to a Nancy LEWIS on 13 Jul 1801 in Caswell, NC? Would you agree that we have also conclusively established that this is a DIFFERENT David ROPER than the David Y. ROPER who was married to a Dionysia ABERNATHY and who settled in Giles County, TN? If so, are we now inclined to believe that this David ROPER also owned land in both Cumberland, KY, as well as McMinn, TN? What else do we now KNOW about this particular David ROPER in respect of the original deed records you identified above and from other sources?
