First the mailing list software was completely replaced. It took a lot of time to do it and even more to help everyone learn how to use the new tools for administration. Next, there was a change of Listmaster. Andrew was replaced with Melissa and she is also learning. To make her job more interesting, 2 of the list servers have broken down and had to be fixed. Third, about 2 weeks ago a new message boards system was implemented and it has a lot of 'bugs' to be ironed out. Melissa is also busy with that. I know it's hard to wait, but perhaps your Gen. Soc. group will wait more patiently if you tell them about all the changes going on. You can also write to the listmaster at [email protected] I don't know how much time has elapsed since your first request, but you should allow at least 2 weeks before following up on it with the Helpdesk or Listmaster. Sharon Dulcich Kern Co. Volunteer P.S. This list isn't for this type of question, but is for webmasters to get help from each other regarding their websites housed on Rootsweb.
