Pat Regan at [email protected] has offered to take it over, and I would very much appreciate it if she is allowed to do so. I have already resigned from the Jeff County message board, partly for the same reason. Please let me know the correct way to do this, and if this is not the right address, I need to know. Nan Dixon, [email protected] Nan- Simply go to your tools page here: http://lists2.rootsweb.com/mailman/admin/nyjeffer/ and under general options change the list admin email address to Pat's and give her the admin password for the list. If you would prefer to change the password to one of Pat's choice you can click on the password link and change the password also. There is an alternate method, of orphaning the list here: http://resources.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/orphan When the list becomes adoptable Pat can then adopt it here: http://resources.rootsweb.com/adopt/ I don't suggest the second method as it is more cumbersome than the first and also someone might adopt the list before Pat gets to it--first come first served. Never, never change the admin address to listmaster as someone else suggested--that is NOT the way to transfer a mailing list to someone else nor is it the way to orphan a list if you don't have a new admin to transfer your list to. Joan PS: Please note that this question would have been more suitable for the [email protected] mailing list.
