Rootsweb-help list: I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to upload pages to my site on homepages using the same ftp program that I have used for about 5 years (coffeecup). I can connect to rootsweb, but as soon as I do, I get an error message: 426 failure writing network session It started happening last Thursday or Friday Has anyone else encountered this situation? Does anyone know if this is a problem with my computer? rootsweb server? my ISP? Thanks Mary

Do NOT include pw. Do you have passive transfer checked? What types of files are you trying to upload? Do you have spaces in your files names? I use WS_FTP and have had no problems uploading or downloading from the freepages server. pat ____________ Pat Geary http://www.family-genealogy-online.com/ http://www.genealogy-web-creations.com/ http://www.blog.family-genealogy-online.com/
