Hi, I'm doing a huge WWII project for a website on a rootsweb account. I was just asked if I can use Powerpoint files -- either to copy out the data on those -- OR to use "as" the webpage itself. I've never used Powerpoint. I know when I've seen such files on the web and wanted to save the text as a file for my personal storage, I could copy and stick into Notepad txt to save it. None had pics. BUT the powerpoint files I'll be receiving DO have pictures. The easiest would be to use those as webpages. But (1) is Powerpoint allowed and (2) HOW would I put them onto the web as pages? Would the file names still be html or htm ? Any SIMPLE, STEP by STEP explanations would be MOST appreciated. I've only been doing html for a year & a half so I'm still learning.
