Dennis- In one respect it is how your email client is processing the V Card "attachment" which can be treated "inline" as text or as a very tiny attachment. RootsWeb doesn't permit attachments but these are very tiny and are text and can slip through and end up being treated as attachments by some email clients. They are too small to be harboring any malicious code and are generally harmless--although possibly considered a nuisance. Joan
